Gas brooder for a chicken house

Gas heaters for chicken farming are supplied by Chicken Shack Agencies. These robust gas brooders have automatic” switch on” and” switch off” functionality as the chicken house reaches the right temperature. The poultry heaters are specially manufactured for chicken farming and have a dust filter to protect the elements.

These gas heaters cannot be compared to gas heaters supplied by hardware stores – these are made to burn 24/7 in almost any conditions. Repairs to gas heaters and servicing of chicken heaters should be carried out by experts – like all gas products, they can be dangerous. Poultry heaters are used in large chicken houses and small poultry houses – usually in a broiler house to warm day old chicks.

Another invaluable tool is the thermometer which measures the relative humidity of a chicken house – a must have if you are serios about the health of your flock.
